Hyuma Mahadevia
An excellent gifting book

A gift for the people who lead with you

The Ethical Leader’s Gita is made to rest on a leader’s desk and be opened every morning. Each of the 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita has a page of its own, with the Sanskrit, the meaning in English and in Hindi, and a reflection on what the verse asks of a person who leads others.

It is a gift for your board and your leadership team, for clients, for new joiners on their first day, for an offsite, and for Diwali.

Why the price is ₹4,995

The printed MRP of the book is ₹4,995. Under Rule 3(7)(iv) of the Income-tax Rules, a gift in kind from an employer to an employee is treated as a nil perquisite when its aggregate value in the financial year is below ₹5,000. The book sits inside that tax-free gifting limit, and inside most mid-level corporate gifting budgets.

This is general information. The printed MRP is the figure that matters, and please confirm the position with your own tax adviser.

Questions companies ask

Can you personalise copies?

Yes. A personalised note or a bookplate can be added to each copy on request. Tell me what you would like it to say when you enquire.

Do you deliver outside India?

The prices on this page are for delivery to one address in India. For delivery outside India, write to me with the number of copies and the country, and I will reply with what is possible.

How long does a bulk order take?

Normally 12 days from the order. Pre-orders are dispatched from 26 October 2026, and personalised copies can take a little longer. Write to me and we settle the details, including the dispatch date, by email.

Can we invoice the company?

Yes. Every corporate order comes with an invoice in your company’s name, issued by me as an individual seller. Printed books are nil-rated under GST, so there is no GST on the price and no GST invoice is needed.

Is the book suitable for readers of every faith?

Yes. The book treats the Bhagavad Gita as a text on duty, decision and self-mastery, and every verse is given in plain English and in Hindi.
